Early Voting Begins Today

by

235200_ballot.jpgEarly voting for the November 6 election begins today. On the ballot are 16 statewide constitutional amendments and the proposed Arlington Crime Control and Prevention District.

Tomorrow I’ll be bringing you information on the 16 amendments and what they’re all about and later this week I’ll take a look at the Crime Control District. We’ll see who is for it, who is against it, what it would do and how the increase in sales tax would be spent. I know, too often, I’m not as well-informed as I’d like to be when an election comes along so I’m going to help myself and hopefully help my readers by finding out about this one.

Registered voters can cast their ballots at any Early Voting location in Tarrant County. There are five Early Voting locations in Arlington. For more information about polling locations, you can visit www.ArlingtonTX.gov/citysecretary or call the City Secretary’s Office at 817-459-6186.

Hi, I do not normally submit comments on blogs, as I wish to read only. However I find the article that you have written earlier has very insightful info, and I find it very informational. Anyway, I am wondering whether you might be open for link trade, as I hope that we will agree on a mutual hyperlink change agreement. Hope to listen to a positive reply from you, and have an important day!
