A 1-year-old was injured when his grandfather, who didn’t see the child in the driveway, drove his car over him on returning from the store. David Gleason was transported to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth by helicopter ambulance, officials said. He was treated for burns received from the car’s muffler and released, said a hospital spokesperson. Police say there is no evidence of malicious intent or neglect and did not believe the grandfather, John Gleason, 78, would be charged.
School officials met with attorneys yesterday to discuss the new Storm Water Fee increase.
