Beginning at 9 a.m. today, the westbound lanes of Randol Mill Road from Cooper Street to Davis Drive will be closed  for sewer repairs. The lane closures are expected to continue until Friday. Alternate routes include Road to Six Flags and Abram Street.

Mansfield is looking to expand it’s recycling efforts.  They commissioned a study and the results suggest things like hiring a recycling coordinator and creating a center where residents could take yard waste for composting and mulching. 

The nation remembers Texas native Lady Bird Johnson.  She is remembered not only as a First Lady, but as a champion of nature.  She will live on in the beautiful wildflowers we see along our highways today.
