Six Flags to Host 7 Weddings on 7/7/07
7/7/07 is considered to be the luckiest day of the century so traditional wedding venues are booked solid. Popular wedding spots, such as the Gaylord Texan resort in Grapevine and the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, have been booked for more than a year. With tradional venues unavailable, some couples are electing to get married in some unusual ways, some even entering to win a wedding in a Wal-Mart of all places.
So why not get married on a roller coaster? Six Flags and Kay Jewelers are getting in on some of the wedding action by offering a unique way to get married. ”Thrilled Ever After” will marry seven lucky couples at 7am on July 7, 2007 at all 12 Six Flags U.S. parks, including Six Flags Over Texas. Couples will get married on a roller coaster and then enjoy a reception with their invited guests at the park. They also get a chance to win a honeymoon vacation. The weddings are private and will take place before Six Flags opens to the public tomorrow.
